The cables and packaging were designed and engineered in the UK by Realliance Ltd.
Realliance was formed by Ray Phillips, having left Path Group PLC a leading accessory distributor and creator of the IXOS brand of cables where he held the position of Vice President during which he was personally responsible for heading the team developing the cables. In total he has been in the cable industry for over 20 years initially a distributor of another English brand before moving on to making cables.
Realliance recognised that there was a need in the market to produce high quality, honest affordable cables. Our aim was to take the high sometimes exaggerated values of the esoteric brands and produce a range of cables to meet the varying tastes of the consumer however at an affordable price.
Ray Phillips describes the concept of the brand as follows: “As such these cables have been made with old fashioned values and attention to detailing ensuring a Video cable really does produce a 75 OHM signal, a HDMI cable will perform to 1080p, using simple but effective coax audio constructed cables as we believe this is still considered to be the best method to transmit an audio signal. We chose to take route that involved us delivering high performance at good prices rather than complicated geometries designed to confuse the consumer with science.
We use high quality materials especially the internal copper conductors rather than bulk out a cable to make it unnecessarily thick to fool the consumer and give the impression of a good cable. Emphasis placed on the quality of material not quantity”
